Wedding Ring Finger, Why?

There is a beautiful and convincing explanation given by the Chinese…..

wedding ringThumb represents your Parents
Second (Index) finger represents your Siblings
Middle finger represents your-Self
Fourth (Ring) finger represents your Life Partner
& the Last (Little) finger represents your children

Firstly, open your palms (face to face), bend the middle fingers and hold them together – back to back
Secondly, open and hold the remaining three fingers and the thumb – tip to tip
(As shown in the figure above)

You Are Here

Hi People, I thought I’d share our neighbourhood with you. If you click on the “view larger map” you can move around Melbourne and zoom in and out.

See how close the sporting grounds are to us. Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG)
Rod Laver Arena (Melbourne Open, Tennis and many Concerts) and Olympic Park.

Further down you’ll see Albert Park Lake this is where the Formula 1 takes place.

Telstra Dome is to to the left of the city at the Docklands, this is where the big AFL games take place.  Don’t know much about AFL its a bit crap compared to football (soccer) and the ref blows his whistle every 20 seconds.

The beaches are about 20 minutes away by tram, great place to enjoy a nice cold macadamia ice cream.

KFC Twenty 20 Ind Vs Aus

Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) is an awesome venue and the game was sponsored by KFC.  The KFC aroma surrounded the ground and it felt like we were sitting inside a family bucket.  Not much fun if your a vegetarian but it was about as fun as the game got.  The seating was mixed, so Ozzies and Indians weren’t segregated like they are for football matches.  I think it would have been more of a buzz if all the Indian supporters sat together.
