Victoria Market
Thought we’d make a trip to Victoria Market today to see what its all about. I used to love going to the one in Wolves and going to this one certainly brought back some memories. We used the tourist shuttle bus to get there, this runs every day from 10 till 4 and is completely free. The market was huge. We have never seen such a variety of different fruit and veg and some of the sizes were humungous. The celery, apples, mangoes, water melons make the ones in the UK look like kids toy pieces! Some of the fruit and veg we didn’t even know what it was. We didn’t take the camera with us but next time I go I will do and will show you guys some of the stuff. Almost forgot to mention that the prices were excellent. Its the first time we have found something that is cheaper and fresher than in the UK.
